Welcome to the Wesleyan University CMS Support Site! Here, you’ll learn how to use our Content Management System (CMS) for wesleyan.edu.
A CMS is a tool that allows you to build and update websites without needing to know how to code. It helps you organize and publish content easily. However, a CMS is not a tool for designing graphics or creating complex web applications. It’s all about making web content creation and maintenance simple and efficient.
There are 200+ Wesleyan websites currently maintained by our Web (CMS), Cascade, however we are in the process of a website re-engineering project. We plan to start the transition to our new website on December 5th, but many current sites will not be transferred until 2025. You will need to know if you site is hosted in the new or previous environment prior to training. Track our progress here: Web Re-Engineering Site
It is also important to note that much of our web presence is not maintained by our CMS. Here is a list of web applications separate from the CMS:
- WordPress
- WesCreates
- Microsoft 365 Apps
- SharePoint Sites
- Brightcove
- Wesportal
- Moodle
- Workday
- Peoplesoft
- Uconnect
- PHP Servers
- EMS Events Calendar
- CourseLeaf
- Soundcloud
- Slate
- WesNest
- Go2Orientation
- Graduay app
